Door seal replacement
Assuming a 72 Cutlass...
If just around the metal door shell, those are easy. Use 3M WS cement at just the ends.
Aside from the crappy plastic rivets that came with it, the "metro" brand seal is a well-fitting piece!
Buy new quality rivets or reuse your old ones. Most all of the new rivets included with the new seals broke as I tried to push them in...

Method is the same. Just remove your old seals making sure you get all of the pushclips out, then clean the area thoroughly, wipe it down with solvent (I use lacquer thinner) and let it dry. Install the new seal starting from one end and work your way to the other end. I used 3M black weatherstrip adhesive sparingly along the whole length (apply as you go - it dries fast). Don't close the door until the adhesive is good and set. Then close it and leave it closed for a day or so. If you can get it warm in the sun for a while, that's a good thing.
Occasionally the holes are just too tight for the retainers to push in, especially at the thick ends. I kept a cordless drill handy and slightly reamed a couple of the holes to get the pins in.
