concourse restoration

Hello,

I was wondering on a concourse restoration are you to use only oem parts for example I was considering stainless brakelines, exhaust etc. Would you loose points in car show for these things or are you to use factory steel replacement parts.

It depends on the show and the judges if there looking for all stock then yeah youll get marked down. If it was my car Id build how I want it and who cares about winning a show.

If there actual origanal miles I would go stock everything it will coast you alot more but the end result will be worth it. An easy way to see if its origanal miles is to pull the front wheel baring and if you know what to look for you can tell if not take to someone who does.
