Hello, middle man for restoration project here

I have a relative who is restoring a 1965 olds culass holiday coupe 2dr ht, he still needs to get some original parts such as rear end and misc. the car runs great with the orig. 330 and rides real nice but it has 390ish rear end in it and he wants to go back to (I believe) 323 tops. If I understand correctly he is willing to trade even up for rear end. I don't know much about the car myself but he does not have a computer and I figured I would look around out here for him. Most of the car is number matching or at least close, but he wants it as close as possible. he also has lots of parts from many cars, alot are original to some thing old.

I rode in the car yesterday and had forgotten how good the old cars felt, it was truely a pleasure.

thanks for any help in advance.

You don't say where you are, but there's a great guy in Austin, TX that specialized in pre-70 Oldsmobiles. His name is Henry Polastry. Contact him at henry_polastry@netzero.net . A good and fair man to deal with.

Even if you aren't near here, he might know someone nearer you.
