Broken accellerator (gas) pedal
Hello all, The sockets on my accel pedal are broken, so it doesn't snap onto the ***** and stay in place well. Seems to fall off at very inopportune times (stop and go traffic an a very steep hill in SF, lol). Anyone know where to get a replacement pedal for a 67 Delta 88 for a reasonable price?

You mean the bellcrank ends and sockets that connect the linkage from the pedal to the carb?
Yours may just be frozen with rust and dried grease - I'd try soaking them in lacquer thinner overnight and giving them a good cleaning, then maybe a bit of penetrating oil.
If the springs (round clips) are stuck in their grooves, they may release and grip again.
Otherwise, they're actually a standard hardware item - shouldn't be hard to find at a GOOD local hardware store or on line.

Yeah, cleaning won't help... the plastic (I assume) sockets on the pedal are completely broken. The parts place doesn't show Delta 88 as an option, but has gas pedals for cutlass/442 for $25... I wonder if they're the same pedal?

The Cutlass pedal is smaller, so I suspect the distance between the posts would be different. I do have a used one that's not too bad. Work is busy right now but I'll try to get some pictures/measurements for you later this week. John
