If you have a Type 12 bolt then neither of those axles. The 1st one you list is for an 8.2" rear end & the other is for the Chevy 12 bolt. On top of that you will have bolt in axles & both of the ones listed above utilize C clip axle retentions.

I got a couple used ones from Brian Trick (507olds) several years ago. I'd contact either him or monzaz if you want a good quality used one.

FYI, there are different versions of axle shafts for the O-Type rear. The early ones (67-69) use a sealed axle bearing with the oil seal pressed into the end of the housing tube, and the late (70) version uses an open bearing with the oil seal sandwiched on the axle shaft between the bearing and the retainer (same parts as the '71-up 8.5" 10 bolt rear). The axles are not interchangeable, so be sure you get the one that fits your rearend.

Yep, that's the '69 style, original to your car.

You can tell Rock Auto that and they should tell you that they don't have an axle shaft for an O-Type 12 bolt rear.
