weel hop
weel hop
my rallye 350 will wheel hop if i try to spin the tires. when i restored the car i had a non original 3:91 rear end in it. 3 years ago mondello wanted my 3:91 and like a dummy i put the original 3:42 rear end back in without putting new bushings in it. could this cause the wheel hop? if not what could cause this? the bushings look good but i know that don't mean much.
wheel hop issues
Many things can cause wheel hop in the rear of the car.
BUSHings rubber and or weakened rubber.
Shocks and or shock
pinion angle
springs
tire pressure and or compound
All can cause or add to problems.

If it didn't do it as much with the other rear end it may point towards the bushings. I have had good luck with no hop bars that change the pinion angle, but new bushings will probably help alot. Summit sells them in a kit. I have used a trade size 3/4" hole saw to drill the cores out of the old bushings and remove the rubber before trying to remove the outer steel core shell.
