Pinion seal is still leaking 😒
Ok...so here's where I am. I don't really want to pay the shop to take it apart again, and I don't have a convenient way to do it myself. If I just have a drip or two, and since I've already had the seal replaced, and if I keep an eye on the fluid level, is it really that much of an issue?
These mechanics these days just do what you tell them and do not even look for a seal area recessed or many when they installed it the spring popped off the inner lip or like they are say they did not use a Teflon or RTV sealant to the pinion spline to inner yoke spline etc. THERE IS A REASON ... THEY need to find it.

You can also dry the area with brake cleaner and let it sit for a day to see if it might be a seepage issue or a short drive around the block if it does not leak just sitting.
You have to clean everything real dry so you can see where it is happening.
ALL THIS IF YOUR NOT going to take it back to the shop.
