I am thinking the Spartan over the Lock Right be at least $100 cheaper and comes with a new cross pin. I plan on using this in my 70S with it's factory 12 bolt cover 8.5" type O rear with 2.78 open carrier. I also plan on synthetic 75W140 and the W27 reproduction cover. Thanks.

 

I know a lot of folks in the Jeep/4WD/off-road community out here use them with good results.

 

I have used the Lock Right No Slip in a 7.5" rear, eventually broke it with slicks. I also used the Detroit copy of the Lock Right in my chebby 12 bolt rear in my old 78 truck. I will be putting on slicks, I will do some searching to for any bad failures.
