1971 cutlass w A/C

I have a heater/ A/C problem. The diverter door on the housing below the dash won't open to allow air through. I recently replaced the upper and lower dash so could be I inadvertently knocked something loose? Is that door manually controlled via a cable or vacuum controlled? I dont know how to diagnose the problem. The blower works on all 3 speeds, just no air flowing through the vents??? May have a controller problem? And Thank you! This is my first message on a forum so if I dont make sense then let me know. thanks

Heater/Ac Problem

two days of trial and error produced the answer. The system is vacuum controlled, two lines from engine through firewall had been switched on controller. one goes to water valve, other to vacuum canister on firewall. The actuator door now works perfectly, all air flowing..had to find a schematic for the vacuum system to figure this out. Thought I would post the solution should anyone encounter a similar problem. Thanks.

Glad you got it figured out. Little mistakes like swapping lines are hard to find and will drive you crazy. I know I've done it too.
