Jetaway front seal

Leak has become unmanagable and undesirable. I will be replacing the front seal soon, any tips or experiences I should be wary of? Any one of you Olds Gods done one before?

Just be sure to lube the seal before installing the converter, and make sure the converter is all the way back into the front pump before tightening the transmission-to-engine bolts.

Thanks, I'll be sure and do that. I have not worked on a Jetaway before, is the seal replacement straight forward?

Make sure the transmission and tools you use are CLEAN! Automatic transmission are not tolerant of dirt or debris. Also make sure the shop rags you use are lint free.
