convertible top fluid

'70 convertible,
just got the car a few weeks ago and the previous owner said top motor worked but wasn't hooked up. Through my inspection and I found that one of the fluid lines was broken and appears that all the fluid leaked out under the back seat. I've got some hydraulic oil today and

1) I need to know the process for filling the pump.
2) Do I run the top a little at a time while I'm adding fluid?
3) and where can I get the 2 cylinders bolts or screws that attach the cylinders to the top frame?

thanks

I have a 72 Cutlass. There is a plug on the right side of the pump. I took some vacuum hose and tapered the end to fit in the hole. I put a small funnel in the other end. It will help if have somebody to help you run the top up and down as you add fluid. There is nothing to bleed. Just cycle it through a few times and it should be fine. Put a rag under the pump because you are going to spill some fluid. I used ATF in mine and it has worked fine for years. I wish I could help you on the bolts. Good luck.
