Guys:
I need some help locating the mounting holes for the mirrors. The doors had some kind of aftermarket mirrors on them. During the body work stage, the holes were brazed over. I have a 66 Cutlass 2 door sedan, I am using the OEM mirror w/ the smaller base than looks to be approx 2" X 1-1/2". I need a measurement from the from edge of the door to the mirror edge.

If you are asking about the distance to the front of the mirror base, on my 2 dr. HT, that measurement is exactly 18"
