New Member...looking for a good home for some olds engines
Hello Folks.
I recently inhereted a 66 Cutlass Convert from a good friend that passed away.
I had redone the car for him about 12 years ago.
It had a 350 in it and he wanted to replace it with an original 330. So, I have a good 350 on a stand and I also have a 455 that I reworked YEARS ago..that's been sitting (inside) for 15 or more years...condition is unknown. It was inside..but is quite stiff to turn over...i suspect moisture condensed on the cyl. walls. I'd like to find someone that could use them...I need to get them out of my shop...Running out of room (FREE)!!!
I may consider selling the 66 as well...have to think about that for a bit...
It sat for about 7 years and is going to need paint and a top. I have too many projects now...but hate to see it go since it belonged to a good friend and I have a lot of sweat and a few bloody knuckles invested already!<G>
I'm in Mississippi...
Drop me a note and let me know if anyone is interested.
Thanks.
Ed.

Good Deal...
I had hoped to find a good home for them...
I built the 455 to go in a mid-engine Corvair that I never got around to.
It came out of a 73 98 wagon. I can't remember what all I did to the engine, but I do know I had the heads done and new gaskets all around.
I think the bottom end was fine. It was painted and all of that...
Has new wires and an old Judson Mag ignition coil setup on it too.
Starter/Flex plate. The intake is off of it...but I think I may still have it.
I also had a set of headers for it...not sure if I can find them...but I'll look.
