It's luck of the draw with re-maned masters. I got one with the bleeders from a local shop when I lived in Illinois.

Bleeders aren't needed. Go to the junkyard and scrounge two short pieces of line with the correct nuts. Loop the line back into the correct end of the reservoir, fill the reservoirs to cover the ends of the stub lines, and pump the plunger until you get the air out.

I also bought a master cylinder for my 71 98 at the local auto parts store without bleeder screws.

I see often on e-bay original type rebuilt with the bleeder screws, if the original look is important. These cost no more then what Fusicks get for a generic type.

I ended up at Fusicks for the MC because of a bad resentment I got towards my local Napa place. They handed me what looked like a MC taken off an old car - poorly spray painted with flakes of rust coming through- greasy finger prints and all- the Booster looked the same way with monsterous pitting etc. Horrible- the guy behind the counter looked at me like i was being too picky.LOL. So I figured I'd slurge on parts for Grandad's car- the original look is important to me- that's what i thought you got when buying from Fusick. I'll have this car forever- so I'm cool paying a few bucks more for better parts. Should I return the part and search for one with bleeders or am i getting way to ****? It's not going to be a show car for cry I.

I don't blame you for returning the part to NAPA. I wouldn't want a remanufactured part that had finger prints and splotchy paint on it. However, I wouldn't pay a large amount extra to get a chromated vacuum booster from Fusicks when you can get a different painted one from O'Reillys or Advanced Auto Parts that costs less than the NAPA one let alone the Fusicks one.

FWIW, I think you will be happy with Fusicks though. I've never been less than satisfied when I buy parts from them.

I'd return the master cylinder to Fusick's. They are very good at accepting returns if you're not happy. As much as I love Fusick's, I really do wish they would do a better job of identifying non-originanl appearance items in their catalog. Maybe if enough unsatisfied customers return their purchases, they'll get the message.
