Strange. I added a photo. I can see it in the editor. Nothing is displayed in the preview or in the post.

Looks to be about a 1983 Cutlass Supreme.

That snow looks like it sucks.

Post the VIN, that will tell you some basic info:
  • Positions 1-3 (WMI): 1G3 (1=USA, G=General Motors, 3=Oldsmobile)
  • Position 4 (Series): Model series code (e.g., A, K, etc.)
  • Position 5 (Engine/Line): Specific model line
  • Position 6-7 (Body Style): 2-door, 4-door, etc.
  • Position 8 (Engine): Engine code (e.g., '9' for 307cid/5.0L)
  • Position 9 (Check Digit): Used to verify VIN authenticity
  • Position 10 (Year): D (1983)
  • Position 11 (Plant): Assembly plant (e.g., M=Lansing, MI)
  • Positions 12-17: Sequential production number

Zoosophy needs to tell us what exactly he wants to know about this car. Year, model, specifications, etc. Who it belongs to maybe?

Yes, but we did mange to get 2 posts out of him. Many a time these type of threads are one and done.

Zoosophy I see you and I are in the same misery weather wise. It was 10 here last night and 10 here right now, with the storm on its way...

Back to the Cutlass, the later years came with a service parts identification label. 1983 seems to be hit or miss in this department.

The dealership is still around !

And as far as how the car came from the get go. I'm coming up with 4 different possible variants. 3.8 V6 gas, 5.0 V8 gas, 4.3 V6 diesel, and 5.7 V8 diesel.
