Where is my SPID?

I've looked in the glove box, all around the trunk lid, and under the spare tire. I can't seem to find the SPID on my `83 98 Regency. I don't see any evidence of missing decals. Any ideas as to where it might be lurking? Thanks!

It's the sticker that tells you what options (RPO codes) your car came with. It stands for "Service Parts Identification"

It looks like this:

Oh, one of those, did not know that they were called that, I just assumed they were modern build sheets that were attached to the vehicle.

Has the trunk lid ever been replaced? My 86 Olds has the spid there.
Do you have an owners manual? Often it will refer to the spid in the "service station info" towards the end.

I don't know the history of the car, but I don't think it's been replaced. I DO have the owners manual, so I'll check that and see if it offers any clues. Thank you!

Wasn't 1985 the first year for the SPID? My 84 Custom Cruiser doesn't have one, but the 86 wagon does.

Ok, the spid on the 83 and 84 should be on the drivers door under the vehicle manufacture sticker, or on the inside of the trunk. My 83 had it in both places. LMK what you find. If your door has been replaced and repainted, the law requires the body shop to take the spid off the original door and put it onto the replacement, unless theres a duplicate spid on the car. I suspect that's why my car had 2 of them.

I found the mfr sticker, but no SPID anywhere. I think Joe is right and perhaps he's saved me from a wild goose chase.

Thanks everyone!
