Question SPID Codes

What is the location of the build codes on a 68-72 Olds Cutlass? Drivers door jam maybe? I just don't know and need help on this one.

Without a build sheet or original window sticker, the cowl tag will get some of the important info. It's located under the hood on the cowl, left hand side (drivers)

GM didn't start putting SPID stickers in cars until the early 1980s.

1967-1972 Chevy/GMC trucks had detailed SPID stickers inside the glovebox doors, interestingly.

Hmm. I didn't know that. Fortunately, my prior statement is still correct.

Wink SPID Codes

Thanks guys, I don't know where SPID started but everyone uses it on the Station Wagon Forum I'm on. And your right, the wagons we collect are 91-96 Buick Roadmasters, Custom Cruisers, and Caprice wagons.
