76-77. amazing it's survived up there, this long. Remember as a kid, just out of HS in New England in mid eighties those colonnades already heavily rusted.
I had a really nice 76 back in the 80’s, black with maroon interior and cool swivel buckets, Car was nice looking and drove great. I saw the tail light on this one out of the corner of my eye and had to take a look.
Hey Brian, Thanks for helping me out with that trans, its in and shifts great! Has that Cutlass been at that dealer for a while, or is it a recent arrival? You already know it peaked my interest!
I was headed to Home Depot and spied the tail light, swung by on my way home. I go by there fairly regularly and this was the first time I noticed it so not sure. My gut says recent arrival, though it is possible it was in another part of the lot or building.
I chuckled when I thought to check in in the thread and saw your name, made perfect sense! All in all, the car looked pretty decent at a quick glance. Not a queen by any stretch but not bad. My biggest takeaway was what looked like still attached bumper strips and fillers.
Happened by this car today at a used car dealer. Don’t know anything about it, just figured I would post it up in case it interests anyone.
If you look at the waterfall grills, you see that each are divided into what appears to be two distinct sections for the 76, whereas the 77 was divided into five sections.
