How do you get to those plugs?

I tried to change the spark plugs on my 1988 Cutlass 2.8 liter, but cant get to the back side plugs. Anybody have the same issues, and if so, how did you get these plugs out? Thanks for any help.

To get to the rear plugs dissconect one end of each front engine mount after you make sure you are parked on a level serface. After you remove the mounts you can then tilt the engine foward enough to reach the plugs.

Boy, and I thought removing the front wheels on my '70 SX to access the rear plugs from over the A-arms was a pain in the butt! Don't know if an '88 would allow you to do that.

Gotta climb under the hood and look down the back of the engine.

Works on the Alero

You could also try to access the plugs from underneath the car.

LOL too bad i didnt see this before. because thats why they put the engine mount right on top. there is even a big loop attached to the engine. all that is so you can unbolt the motor and attach an engine lift to it. it will rotate pretty far.
