Question. I'm cleaning up parts and I came to those metal "covers" that go inside the trunk over the rear marker lights. They have spatter paint on the trunk side, but the other side looks like it had no finish at all on it. Obviously there is rust on that side. Is there any reason they shouldn't just be painted silver, or any other color for that matter on that side?

Another question, those front and rear marker lights, are they the same on cars with the metal trim strip running down the lower length of the car than on cars without it?
