Convertible Hydraulic Cylinder & Motor/pump Rebuidl?

I am restoring a '70 Cutlass Supreme Convertible. Car was sitting for 12+ years and neither cyinder will move and the motor pump does not operate. When I took off the end of the pump that holds the fluid, the fluid was totally dried out and like dirt.

Anyone rebuild either the hydraulic cylinders or motor/pump?

thanks,

Pat

Unless you have sentimental attachment or originality is important, I'd just get new cylinders. The pump is rebuildable, kits are plentiful and cheap....but, new ones are also available. The hoses, again, are also available and will need to be replaced as well....

There are numerous sources for all this stuff...

Cheers,

Troy
