Wish I had one of those on my truck, You would not believe the crap I see on a daily basis. I guess I have been lucky for the most part though and should not complain.

Torsten,
Sorry to hear that bad news but do not dismay. Look at this as an opportunity to re-build your car better or, if you cannot find a parts car then a chance to start on a new Oldsmobile! I know you will prevail and come out on top in the end.

That's too bad Torsten, still think that guy who cut you off was at fault.
My crazy cousin used a hatchet on a guy who cut him off, got five years but was out in two.
The big problem was the hatchet, not a common thing to be carrying on your front seat next to your whoopin' chains and machete'.
He should have used the jack or tire iron like normal people.

What's wrong with the body that you need a whole parts car? Would a frame and front clip be enough or are there more problems?
If you see a body in the Cleveland area let me know and I'll help out any way I can. It's real doubtful here in the buckle of the rust belt though, the buckle's even rusting out.

I was wondering where you were Torsten, didn't know people actually worked in France.

hi again,
The frame, hmm the left front end of the frame looks (15cm) above the other side, this is ok (the passengers side has nearly nothing).
So in germany, for now, i dont find any framebuilders, who could fix that, in my range. so i think a complete parts car without any engine and tranny, interior, or so. i just need (frame), radiator core, complete front with grills and bumper, windshield, fender, hood, and inner fenderwell.
so if i dont find any parts car, im lookin, as i said, to a 65/66 cutlass or 70/71 to restore my 2nd olds.
i found a nice guy /nice project on ebay, i ve send him an email yesterday and he said if no one buys, or if im the winner he will gave me time enough to handle everything.
now my next problem is a shipping company that picks up the car and handle everything from a to z. you know...
So then,
Greets Torsten

hi guys

So back,
i found a german shipping company...the price is right .
but now im lookin for a parts car definately to restore my 71.
ive found few cars on eb*y but when i found one it tooks to long to contact the seller and discribe my probs. when i get response from both(shipping comp. and seller) the cars were gone...:-((((
so hey guys, no one around who has a 1970 / 71 cutlass like one, im lookin for.??
or your neighbors brother, his girlfriend, has a guy who sells one...:-)
So have a nice day
Thanks
Greets from france
