Andrew in nj, restoring 70 cutlass s

Andrew in New Jersey. I am the owner of a 70 Cutlass S which has a 71-72 front end and w25 hood; I am hoping to return the car to its former glory with all 70 cutlass parts. Anyone who can help with parts and information can contact me at 973 766 3747. In addition, I WAS INTRODUCED TO THIS SITE AND OTHER SITES BY A GENTLEMAN IN SC OR NC WHOM I USED TO SPEAK TO BY PHONE, I HAVE SINCE LOST CONTACT WITH THAT PERSON, I HOPE YOU READ AND REMEMBER YOUR FRIEND IN NJ, ANDREW, AND CONTACT ME AT THE ABOVE NUMBER. I AM READY TO FINISH MY PROJECT

Welcome Andrew. I am currently restoring a 1972 442 clone. Good luck, and post pics when you can. This is a great site and you will get a lot of help and advice.

Welcome

Always like to hear of a car being returned to it's former stock glory.

I think a guy in Europe here has a '70 front end on his '71 or '72?
A little too far to swap parts with.

I can't believe nobody has asked what you're planning to do with that old useless W25 hood yet?

Welcome to the forum! You can always scan craigslist, ebay and the classifieds here for the parts you need.

Welcome to the site. Good thing is you can sell your parts use that money to buy the 70 parts. Maybe someone on here could do some swaping with you. Post some pics.

I'm no sure what I'm going to do with my w25 hood as yet, I had an offer to trade and an inquiry about my nose clips, I'm not sure which way to go as yet. I have a few pictures in my photo gallery if anyone would like to take a look at my car.Thank you all for your encouragement and guidance.

To convert back to a '70 nose you would only need the hood, core support, grills, lights(maybe able to use the '71-'72 lights), bumper and bumper brackets. The fenders are the same except for the ridges on the top inside edge. I have a mint flat hood and front bumper brackets if your interested. Jkaz
