70 trunk script holes

70 trunk script holes

the trunk to my 70 culass supreme convertable has two holes center for rocket emblem, two hole right for cutlass script and I am not sure why it has 2 holes on the left side. All info i find says they should't be there, anybody have any information that might help. the trunk is original.

Some of the old car dealers would put on a chrome emblem from their dealership, often in that location. I wonder if it could be from one of those?
