How would I go about changing the bulb in the parking lamp socket on the left of the instrument panel?

My question is not because the bulb is out, but because I touched the red glass, and it fell off the housing, along with a small washer. I'm trying to figure out how best to repair this without sealing it up such that I can't change the bulb should I need to. Not that that bulb gets much on-time as it is.

 

The assembly has a twist lock behind the dash. I had the same thing happen to mine, I could not get it to snap back together. I crazy glued the red lens into the chrome cover and then carefully crazy glued the chrome ring to the face of the housing.
