[1972] How does the I/P ground?

Olds 88/98 apparently has a strap attaching to a bar (like in my 70s F-bodies). How does the instrument panel in the Cutlass ground?

Also need to know if there is a ground bar running under the dash of some type for the radio, not sure how to ground the aftermarket system my car came with, and it keeps going out because of it. The standard aftermarket casssette radios usually come with a strap that's supposed to attach to said bar.

The factory dash has a series of grounding straps stamped from thin sheetmetal that connect to all the electrical components in the dash. These are sandwiched where the plastic dash bolts to the cowl to ground to the body. A few options or lamps use dedicated ground wires.
