1970 cutlass supreme question

I need some help. I just bought a 1970 cutlass supreme. Manual, bucket seats , with a 455. Engine code 396021F. The code matches for a 1970 455 motor. Question, did they make manual 445 cutlass supremes? Thank you any info helps!

The 455 was only available with an automatic transmission in a 1970 Cutlass Supreme.

All 455s have that block casting number. Look at the VIN pad on the block to see if it matches the VIN on the dash.

From the other thread where you asked the same question:

No 455 4 speed Supremes were built until the 1972 V Code 455/M20 cars. There were 77 hardtops and 66 convertibles built.

Here's my website for these cars:

I merged your identical threads. It is neither necessary nor in your best interest to ask the same question in multiple threads. You'll get a better answer sooner if all responses are in the same thread so that incorrect info can be caught and corrected more quickly.
