Where were they when...

How come I didn't have paparazzi taking shots and bystanders running to get water and a fire extinguisher for me when my AC compressor locked up and smoke was billowing out from under the hood? Oh yea, I am just an average Joe...I mean Dan.

All Oldsmobile owners on this site are famous in my book. Next time you have a fire do it in front of my house I'll save your car and then buy you a beer

Just goes to show how ig'nant most people are about old cars- or cars in general for that matter. A steam car is supposed to have a little fire going, and steam is a natural byproduct of one.

In spite of what he did to his Toronado, Leno is a car guy and is known as one of the few steam car owners who will fire up a boiler and ride.

The downside of being a famous car guy is that ya can't even take your stuff out for a pleasant spin without the paparazzi and hangers-on getting in the way.

I don't know Dan, but it's like the Colonel's picture above just not so big...actually just a small triangle.
