Hi All,
I am looking for a good shop in the “Burnaby” (or surrounding area) to do some work for me; front suspension, small electrical, brakes. Just little things but I lost my workspace so….
At the moment I am looking for a carb/ rebuild. I Here’s what it’s going into. I want a good reliable and organized place for any work.
I have a Holley 750 double pumper that’s gummed up.
I would just do it myself. My first carb rebuild was when I was a 17 year old high school kid with no idea what the insides of a carburetor looked like. It was much simpler than I thought, and that experience led me to be a fairly competent rebuilder. If yours is just gummy then disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly is a straightforward operation.
X2 on the DIY, mainly because I'm one of only a handful of people on the site who know where Burnaby is, and I don't know any shops there.
You might try Gary at Classic and Performance out in Delta. I don't know if he's still in business but if he is, he did some good work for me back in the 00's. Mind you, I had a Chevy then.
Since retiring and moving to the Island, I've had to take on more of my own work.

Come to think of it, I'm sure Gary built a Q-Jet for me (which is still going strong). I bet he knows Holleys at least as well. Google shows the business is still active, so call them: 604-940-9633.
Welcome aboard! The Holley carb is a fairly easy one to rebuild. If you choose to do so I would highly recommend you use the appropriate Holley brand kit for your carb and not one of the less expensive generics! Good luck!
