Cool. I didn't know the original air date of TOS.

I can’t recall if I shared pics of our Wyoming vacation from last month, but much to the disappointment of my youngest daughter we had to take a little detour on the way home.

My youngest daughter was sound asleep in the truck. She woke up when she felt the truck stop, looked out the window and saw this. She groaned and asked “ WHERE ARE WE???!!!” Just stoping for lunch. 😁

My wife enjoys Star Trek, but isn’t a fanatic like I am. Her favorite character is the Gorn. I bought her a tee shirt years ago that said “Gorn Star”, she wore it often.

Reminds me of Eddie Murphy's stand-up routine about Kirk and the green woman.

Funny how I see online in multiple Trek "authority" places that James Tiberius Kirk was born March 22, 2233, but the pics of tourist attractions actually in Riverside say it was 2228. Was there some sort of alternate reality that made him born 5 years to the day earlier?

If you liked the original series, have a look at Strange New Worlds. Good stuff!

Forgot about this pic. William Shatner did a meet/greet last year for a viewing of Star Trek 2 and 3. I have said it maby times, I hope when I’m his age I’m moving around half as well as he does. He has more energy than most men half his age.

Captain Janeway will be born in Bloomington Indiana. Someday I’d like to visit Vulcan Canada and see all the sights there.

They should've picked a better city than Bloomington for Janeway. She's got ***** of steel, and Bloomington is a socialist collegiate utopia nowadays.

I feel like star trek shows finally have gotten good again since the TNG / DS9 era. Lower Decks and strange new worlds are great.

Pike gets a young Kirk as first officer and teaches him the best negotiation is through penetration, whether that means phaser shots or the captain's johnson is particular to the situation.

I haven't watched it, the above is a joke.

Doctor Bashir:
Wait a minute. Aren't you two wearing the wrong color?

O'Brien:
Don't you know anything about this period in time?

Doctor Bashir:
I'm a doctor, not an historian.

Sisko:
In the old days, operations officers wore red, command officers wore gold...

Lt. Commander Jadzia Dax:
And women wore less.

Doctor Bashir:
I think I'm going to like history.

One of my prized possessions is a picture of her signing my copy of her autobiography. This was a few years before she died. She was smoking hot during the original series, was smoking hot in her 50s/60s and still looked damn good in her 70s.

Hollywood says the years are not kind to actresses, there are some women who age like fine wine.

It ain’t dumb if it works. Captain Kirk definitely made lots of “entries” in the Captain personal log. 😁
