Still alive just surviving and being a dad

Just saying hi. I don't seem to get much time for boards any more. I check in to Facebook once or twice a day. Seems like yesterday I starting building the 66 and now the toddler you saw in those pics is almost 11. The twins are now 5 and in Kindergarten. About 17 months ago I made a mistake of a job change. Even though the place was a better place and lots of great people they split their pie in to many pieces. I barley survived for a year tying to make it work and burned through most of my savings. The other place had been begging for me to come back so I did at the beginning of Summer. Been getting back on my feet but still have a ways to go.

Still have the 54 (its not going anywhere) and the The yellow 67 I bought right before changing jobs along with some non Olds stuff. Still have not got to build my new house.

Stuff takes me much longer to get done in the shop because of my little sponge but I would not change it for anything. I figure he should be a pretty good builder by the time he is 10 LOL

Here he is in action

Good to hear from you. Being a good dad is more important than anything that you will do on the computer.

Good to hear from you Richard, I haven't been on the boards much either. Mine are now 9 and 12 and they take up much of my free time too but its all good.

Since the young guy has the building aspect down, now you/he can look forward to the driver's license and new ride... Trust me, time does fly, been through it four times... Good luck...

Glad to hear you are doing well. Sometime you make a move and it doesn't work out. Best move is to move forward & leave it behind you.
