CNN has a photo slide show of super bowl tickets. I found it interesting from a price point. Wow.
$10.00 dollars in 1967.
$5000.00 today.

Ten bux then bought a whole lot more than ten bux now, but it's what happens when something becomes an "event" instead of a plain old football game- which, except for a few notable commercials, is what Super Bowls have been lately...

Speaking of hype, Why do we have a Pro Bowl? The talk seems even the players don't like it.
I try not to compare, but baseball and nascar have them slotted in a different spot in the season. Oh wait...nascar has its "super bowl" as one of the first events.
