A look back at Super Bowl tickets

CNN has a photo slide show of super bowl tickets. I found it interesting from a price point. Wow.

$10.00 dollars in 1967.

$5000.00 today.

I see the Roman numeral system broke down. I was waiting for "L".

I hope to live to see Super Bowl C.

Ten bux then bought a whole lot more than ten bux now, but it's what happens when something becomes an "event" instead of a plain old football game- which, except for a few notable commercials, is what Super Bowls have been lately...

Looky what happened to car auctions when they became "events"...

Considering the Roman Numeral system, they come up with some reason not to use it this year. Hmm...

Speaking of hype, Why do we have a Pro Bowl? The talk seems even the players don't like it.

I try not to compare, but baseball and nascar have them slotted in a different spot in the season. Oh wait...nascar has its "super bowl" as one of the first events.

Thats entertainment.

Seriously, I like it. I just feel you should get off my lawn.

You guys cannot just use the copyrighted term like that.

We can however discuss football as viewed from above, say, by a Superb Owl.
