As big as CL is, they have something like 11 employees (or did until very recently).

Rats, now my telegraph will soon be outdated. We already got running water here; what a difference flush toilets make instead of an outhouse. Next summer I hear they're planning to have everyone pretty much set up with that newfangled lectricity? And we just split 2 chords of wood for heating. Mom is busy right now dipping candles in case we need them in case of emergency. Just the other night we hitched up Norma and Terry and sledded into the town meeting hall. Everyone was buzzing about getting talking pictures at the movie house. There was even some rumors that people elsewhere in the world have something called telly vision. Must be something they invented to replace spectacles?

Craigs list in Canada you say. I know a couple of guys named Craig, but only Craig Gustavson lists; specially after he's been drinking. Makes it hard to understand when he slurs his words but he's funnier than watching the whales come up to breath

A salesman came calling today from a winder outfit. Said they could make some custom glass to fit the cabin winders. We gots some purty good skins on em now, but this guy says we'll be able to see through them like they wasn't even there!! I laughed at him because he didn't bring no snowshoes and was floundering in the snow when he left. But we did order some of them fool winders. Never to be said we was cheap.

Just got a letter from the mayor that we are gonna git increased in taxes so they can put in new tall lectric lights on the streets! Bob is going to be displeased. He's our local lamplighter and when them new poles go in he won't have a job...

Saw one of them horseless carriages 2 days ago. Scared the crap out of Norma and Terry! Pretty soon I can see the day when teknologee is gonna run the world....
