Your dad, and you by extension, should be grateful family genetics don't include arthritis and degenerative disk disease like mine do. Oversized pickup trucks don't help guys like me who deal with that **** daily.

 

Driving my 96 98 recently was quite different than driving my 2020 F150 every day. Even without a lift kit my 1/2 ton sits quite a bit higher than my Olds. I added step bars to it and the wife and daughters are very grateful. I've never parked my 1/2 ton next to my 86 F250 but I bet it does sit higher. Momma never complained getting into the Bullnose truck before.
