I'm already a Buckeye, lol! You are funny!!

I like onions, but they don't like me anymore. Same with green peppers. I pick most of them out of food, but you have to cook with them or use them to get that flavor! Larry uses the little pearl onions in his beef stews and such. I love garlic! Garlic bread, lots of garlic in sketty and such. It's good for you too, they say.

Remind me never to make tater salad for ya Blue. I use pickles and onions!!

OK..... so now, what about mufflers? Just a little rumble when ya step on the gas. Nothing too loud inside the car.

I'm sorry you love them onions too Jamesbo.

Don't even mention garlic.
Why hide the flavor of the food unless there's something wrong with it?
If you need steak sauce on a steak and a steak knife to cut it it isn't any good, all I need to know.
My mom was Italian, I had to eat plenty of onions and garlic as a kid or I would of starved to death or grown up to be midget.
You'll never get a pickle by me for nothing, then and now.
I still think you should be able to sue Burger King when you tell them to hold your pickle and when you check the burger there are pickle prints in the cheese.

The Don Sitts grease monkeys will take an impact wrench with a worn out gnarly socket a half size too big to them like they did to mess up your old ones.
I don't own any impact tools, a man has to know his limitations.
I think you need dual exhaust to wake up that baby, mightaswell do a rear bumper with the cutouts for the tailpipes and pretty chrome four hundred and forty two exhaust tips too.
The chinesium lug nuts last about three years on my GTO, then the chrome falls off.
I buried some original ones in the backyard hoping I could grow a rally wheel lug nut tree but the lousy pot metal lawn ornament squirrels dug them up and ate them.

What about the the nut behind the wheel?
I have to stick around the house home and wait for the Fed-Ex guy to get my new Cellephone.
My old one finally died from lack of attention, I used it about 6 minutes a year. This one has a camera I'll never use.
I don't have a doorbell so I have to be quiet and listen for the door, cuts into my daily three hour yodeling practice.
My fearless watchdogs only bark when the guys pulling out of the drive and the sticker is on the door saying "sorry we missed you".

Oh My God! You just make me howl, lol!!!! I'm glad the guys left for lunch! The lawn ornament squirrels dug up the lug nuts??? You just ain't right, lol!!!

Don Sitts guys did not mess up my lug nuts, you shi*!!! I'll check and see how many I need, and order some Chinesium ones, I guess. I want to get her somewhere and get the rims repainted - If they can match the paint this year, lol! You should give me your body shops number.....

And I'm not putting a dual exhaust system on her either, but I am going to get a pretty tip and put on. You know I've been wanting one of those....

OK. here goes my tater salad recipe

Toss taters in the pot Boil till fork tender
Then rinse under cold water to stop them cooking
Peel em and cube em.
Drain real good and put in a big bowl
Add 4 - 6 peeled cut up boiled eggs
5 -6 slices or more of bacon cooked and crumbled up. (gots to be real bacon and not them imitation bits in a bottle)
throw the taters and eggs in the bowl
gobs of Miracle Whip.
Stir it all together.. add in bacon stir a couple more times

serve and enjoy..

adding anything else to it simply ruins it and you may as well just toss it to the pigs for slop.

Sandy,

Des ain't real pears. Des de kind what come in a can with that syrup stuff.

My dear ole depart mother used Miracle Whip when I she was dragg'in me up.

She made Waldrof salad wit it, Canned Pear salad, and canned pineapple salad with it [Same as de pear] Half a pear or a slice of pineapple, spoon full of miracle whip. Graded cheese and a cherry on top.

Dat was back in de day when we didn't know the red cherries had red dye #3 and it could of kilt cha.

She might a done it so de kids would quit eat'in dirt and learn'in to like fruit. I dunno?

Hey Sandy/Blue,

Ya gots a good German tater salad recipe? I ain't crazy 'bout de one I'm using. I'll swap ya a chittlin recipe fer one.

I luv Brats, beets, Kraut and german tater salad. Specially in de winter.

You guys are making me hungry just reading all this lol.

I had an alright time at the mall today, I did get my flag which is a great thing, I collect flags from around the world as long as my immediate family or myself has been to that country.

I am putting a dual exhaust on my 98 Sandy, but she won't be ready for you to hear for a couple of months at least, sorry.

I am having a great time on my vacation but I can't wait to get home to finish rebuilding my engine so I can go cruising down the road again. After I finish the rebuild I will put up pics for you all and also get off my butt and put a video up on you tube so you can hear her running.

Take care all,

Adrian

Mawn'in all

It's kind cool and dank down ere dis mawn'in

Adrian,

If'in I knowed dat, I could of given cha a Confederate Flag whilst you were down ere. They're not very P.C so we have to keep dem hidden in de closet so as not to offend anyone.

Sandy,

I know Ohio is Kroger Country, But dwon ere at Publix de carry a product call Wickle Pickles. My Super model loves fer me to make her sum chicken salad wit Wickle pickles in it. Wickles have a little kick to dem and are more different dan any thing else I knows of.

I hope I'm not offend'in Blue discuss'in pickles so early in de mawn'in.

I better shut up 'bout pickles and go gnaw on dis bagel with cream cheese and Nova I'm hav'in fer breakfast.

Ya'll have a loverly day, Ya ere.

Morning All!

It's 20 degrees here this morning and some weak sun is shining. Very frosty out there!! But they say we should miss that rain/snow mix, so that is good!!

Jamesbo..... Blue is not gonna be happy that his day is getting started off with pickles, lol! No Krogers around my area anymore. They did away with them a long time ago. I do believe there are other ones still open around the state, though. I'll have to look for those pickles and see if someone else may have them.

Nicole goes and gets her physical for that aide job today. Hope she starts soon. I do believe she's planning on moving in with her boyfriend, who just bought a house yesterday. All I can say is God bless em! I've preached and preached. Larry isn't going to find out until she starts moving. I'm damned sure not going to say a word.... I told her that if it doesn't work out, he won't let her come back, so she better think about it. God she reminds me of me at her age more and more...... scary!!

So I took Teepo out for a jaunt last evening - Houston, we have a problem. I have to make a new thread.

Adrian... I might part with one of my Olds flags...... maybe.

Well have a good day all!

I bet there are more Confederate flags displayed and cars painted like the General Lee in Streetsyltucky than there are in Georgia.

Possibly parting with an Olds flag Sandy?!!
What a tease.
Adrian didn't paint your engine and put on your battery disconnect, and come to think of it... install your new battery!, and he sure didn't give you lessons like Yoda gave Luke to to show you how to use the force to win trophies??? (
Give me the flag and I'll have a T-shirt made for Adrian that says,
"I traveled halfway around the world and all I got was this lousy T-shirt".

Can I have your old lug nuts??

God you just make me laugh!!! One of those Olds flags would lay nicely in the back of the Vista wouldn't it? From Teepo's roots, lol! I still have to wash those 3 that the guy sent me. I'll think about it, lol!

Just tell me how to clean up my lug nuts and I'll keep them, you shi*!!!!!!

Blue,

Speak'in of Gen Lee. Dis really is whar I went to school.

http://www.myspace.com/video/djtbell...g-jump/1746513

We once stole a mule and chained it to the iron fence surrounding the obelisk in the quad.

The new kids are now stealing Zebras and putting them in the elevator of the red brick building.

Those darn kids.
40K a year and that's all they can teach them??
Chaining a mule to a fence is a riot.
A Zebra in a building is too.
A car jumping a dirt pile is cool but just like strippers, you've seen one you've seen them all.

Have the Zebra drive the General Lee with the mule riding shotgun and jump it up into that third floor window then do some tire smoking donuts in the building and jump back out.
Then even Redgoat would be impressed.

LMAO, the landing coming out of the building would hurt just a little but it would be worth watching. Just make sure they wear their seat belts then it would feel just like being whipped while pulling a cart for them

You could always send that flag up to Sandy for me Jamesbo, I won't be there till Saturday so it should make it in time

I am going to hunt for this thread of yours Sandy now so have a great night all,

Adrian

P.S. New York is a crap city, people drive like maniacs, they are extremely rude and the place just stinks.

I don't think Adrian likes de Big Apple. Hurdling wineos on de side walk gets a little old to me too.Mate

De nicest people I met up dar were de police. Once,I was walk'in from an I-talian restaurant to a theatre and dis cop said. "Go up dis street and turn left, If you go down dis street and turn right you're likley to get kilt."

Very useful informatrion.

Morning All!

Heavy frost here again, temps in the 20's. Supposed to get rain/flurries later this afternoon, but a little sun is out now. The yard is finally drying up. I went back to the shed last night and it didn't feel like a sponge anymore. Just a little soft.

I've never been to The Big Apple. I don't have any desire to go there. I've heard too many stories, and everyone says they do drive like maniacs! Rents and such are very expensive. I don't see the attraction to living there, myself. In the city, that is. Other parts of NY are nice. I'm not a big city person anyhow. Too much traffic and congestion for me.

Yeah, I remember when Reagan was shot. I was watching a soap opera, and they interrupted, lol! I was laid off of work then. I liked him.

Hey.... gas came down to $3.38/gal. on Rt. 91 this morning!!! 11 cents lower than over here on Rt. 82! That's a good thing!! Of course Nicole put $20 in the Intrigue yesterday at one of the stations on 91 when it was still $3.49, lol! I hate it when that happens!! She got her physical done yesterday and now has to get fingerprinted and hopefully can start that job. She starts that course at Maplewood on the 5th.

Well have a good day all!

Morning all, weather here is the same which is a good thing. Just cool with ice for wind

I think that's why I didn't like the big apple either Sandy, not a big fan of big cities.

I got gas for $3.31 yesterday Sandy but you would have to come down to Jersey for those prices

Not doing a great deal today, little shopping (very little) have to get another suit case as we don't have enough room anymore. Must be all these things we keep buying Will be mainly resting for our big drive tomorrow, Niagara Falls here we come hehehe.

Have a great day everyone,

It's amazing how many "treasures" you aquire when you're traveling, isn't it, lol!! I liked Niagra Falls when I was there, but that was years ago. I'd like to go back sometime. I hope the weather is good for your visit, and you all have fun!

Sorry to hear you didn't like NYC. Maybe it was because you drove in the city. That's enough stress to upset anyone. We always fly into NY and take taxis and the subway. If driving, I would park outside the city and take the train into NY. I love NY and feel safe wherever I go. When I would go there back in the 1970s, that was a different story. It was terrible then.
I do like other big cities too, London & Paris etc. but will never drive in them, I'll leave that to the professionals.

That's the truth lol, Niagara is the furthest north we are going so hopefully there will be a little snow around just for us, if not oh well

That there is the problem Higgins, I don't do public transport unless I absolutely have too, I was happy to walk from Wall st to Central Park but my party said not gonna happen and a taxi is public transport IMHO. I ended up on the subway I haven't been on public transport for around 9 years and I was happy with that

Back in the 90's when I worked at Automated, they sent us to a trade show in Chicago. First time I ever flew - and I didn't like it! Of course I heard all sorts of horror stories since I hadn't flown before. My co workers really got a kick out of scaring me.

Anyhow, once in Chicago, we ditched the trade show after a few hours and went out on foot walking everywhere! There were a gazillion people everywhere you looked! And we rode a subway or something they called the "L"? I didn't like it. Smushed in with all the other people. It scared me. Some of the areas it went through..........

I'd rather have kept walking! We saw a lot of sights. Went up to the top floor of the Sears Tower and sat there having cocktails like we were rich goobersmoochers or something, lol! It was all on the company, so why not? Then we flew back home that evening.

Hey Adrian...... Be glad you're where you are this week. I see they're calling for a possible 6 - 12 inches of snow next week around New Jersey, New York, VA., Philly.. I think that would be more snow than you bargained for, lol! Sure as heck hope we don't get any of it!!

I went out and walked at lunch. It's real cloudy now, so I guess the rain is coming. We're gonna get some snow tonight they said, but nothing major. I got myself a pedometer, and I walked .90 mi., and 1598 steps! In 12 minutes!

Redgoat's done 124 steps over several years, he's been in 12 step programs ten times and is presently working on his eleventh.
"Hi!, My name is Redgoat!".
He only does them for the free cookies and coffee.

You want to see snow Adrian? If I put my snowblower away we'll get a foot of the white stuff later the same day or the next day for sure.

How fast are you walking to do almost a mile in twelve minutes Sandy??
How long does it take you to climb back up this steep mountain you're walking down??
I thinks your pedometers reads in kilometers.

When I was in New York State a 6 years ago we left the Motorhome and car at the campground and took a tour bus to the City. The bus driver was a retired New York Cop and parked in Times Square in front of a fire hydrant for half a day while we looked around. Had a good time but won't be going back.

PS didn't like the mustard sauce on the hotdogs either

I walk pretty fast at lunch time, but I'll have to go over my instructions again on this thing and make sure I have it set right. It's on miles.

We have flurries coming down over here.

I walk pretty fast at lunch time, but I'll have to go over my instructions again on this thing and make sure I have it set right. It's on miles.

We have flurries coming down over here.
The new "flash" cuz, dang that's fast!

The only way to eat a hotdog is with Original Flint Coney Island sauce, that is a fine-ground sauce made with beef, secret spices and ground up hotdogs, with yellow mustard and sweet onions on top. Oh and the dog has to be a Koegel Vienna in natural casing (that's pig guts). Mmm Mmm good. People who have moved all over the country from Flint have the sauce and Viennas shipped to them. I've had hotdogs in Chicago, New York, Detroit. Nothing like them anywhere else in the world. Gonna have them for dinner tomorrow.
