C-diff is not good. My mom had it and sepsis. Did not make it. (2007).

Curious if Ventrac sells a flat blade attachment (like a road grader) or something like a landscape rake. I enjoy helping others to spend their money.
They sell a variety of blades and powered and unpowered rakes. These are small boulders of concrete that need dug up, but there are not many of them. I am currently falling into a basic use video which is already helping me. I have decided I eventually need hardpoint parking nests for all my attachments to keep them from rolling forward when attaching, or rolling backward when detaching.

Hauled the mowers out to the new place today. Fired up the tractor (which stays out there) and mowed all I could with it. Parked it, swapped to riding mower, and mowed most of the roof of the berm building with it. I figure a 500 lb riding mower and myself is not too much, but 2200 lbs of tractor and deck is too much. I then grabbed the push mower and it ran ok, but is missing another bolt holding the rope starter on. I have a spare bolt. I think the thing is falling apart on the back of my utility trailer, so it rides in the truck bed now.

Went back to the riding mower and touched up till dark. It's good enough. I drove out onto the field and did a loop around my friend's garden spot; I'll bushhog the whole field soon. Parked that mower, and leaf blowered the crap off the tractor and deck. Washed them. I need to get some good degreaser for the bottom of the deck and finish cleaning it. Put the deck, then the tractor away, and came home with the push mower. I had several jugs of water for the garden that I brought back; my neighbor had a fire, so I just drove across the back yard and dropped them off. Ate a pizza, now vegging. I will finish the H/OCA magazine tomorrow. We had such bad postal issues with the last issue; I think my copy is lost. The USPS is in a race to the bottom.

Hi guys,

Taking a moment to catch my breath and see how everybody else is doing. I've been dealing with a serious family issue since Friday. Apparently my Sister up in Michigan has started exhibiting abnormal paranoid mental behavior that seemed to come on rather suddenly within the last week. Myself, her partner Jerry, and other family members finally convinced her to go to a medical hospital on Saturday. From what I know at this point they could not find a medical reason at the hospital for her behavior, and as of last night she was transferred to a psychiatric facility for further observation. Not good! Right now I'm waiting on a call from a caregiver/doctor at the psychiatric facility to find out her current condition/status. That's about all I know at this point but will update you guys when I have more info, which I hope is soon.

Chris - That’s a major bummer about your sister. Is she older/younger than you? Hope they’re able to ascertain her condition soon.

Thanks Norm. She's 7-yrs younger than I am, so 59. Although she's been sober for many years now, there's a history of alcoholism, and she has been treated (drugs) for chronic depression for many years by a psychiatrist that she sees monthly. I am hoping it is something simple like her meds being out of whack?

And, I've noted at least during the past 15yrs - 20yrs more women seem to be taking antidepressants. I'd like to see Psilocybe cubensis replace antidepressants.

Dawn is making homemade Potato soup w/ham and homemade yeast rolls for dinner. I could make a meal out of the yeast rolls themselves with a ton of real butter.

Gabe had a great game this morning with 2 goals and 2 assists in a 6-2 win. Keegan also had a great 2-games, having a total of 35 saves and only 3 goals against in a 3-1 win and 2-2 tie. His stats are even more impressive because he was subbing for a team in the next highest age bracket.

Chris - Thanks, it was very good. The hot fudge sundae wasn't bad after dinner.

Homemade potato soup + ham w/ homemade yeast rolls is like a home run. Oh yeah. Those yeast rolls are to die for - dunk 'em in the soup did ya? Yum.

Hi everyone.

Damn Chris that's scary. I hope it's just an imbalance and can be straightened out. She's in the best place for now, getting help and not being able to hurt herself. Prayers for everyone.

Beautiful day today. Walmart was unusually trying, as well as McDonald's drive thru. Eh, we survived. Did some yardwork at Mom's this afternoon. The new chainsaw works nice. I haven't cut down(cut up?) anything too big, so the toyish 18" bar is fine for now.

Lots of running around to do tomorrow. Gonna be nice all week. I'm gonna try to squeeze some extra time out of the afternoons and see what I can get done. Probably only longer naps...

Okay have a good evening everyone.

Sorry about your Sis, Chris... Boy it seems a lot of people have trouble as they get into 60s-70s. I always thought after you made it thru formative-(party) years you would be OK. But it's easy to get depressed in later years- look how many divorces that happen to older couples. I think maybe we need challenges, Raising kids. maintaining property, houses, cars, mowers etc.
Frank is back home but highly contagious- can't go visit, but he sounds good.

Good morning everyone.

Beautiful here, haven't been out lately so I don't know if it's cold. Supposed to be warm today.

Greg I'm glad Frank is back home. That's promising. He isn't contagious over the phone. You guys got snow yet? Looking forward to seeing Purple Elvis this winter.

Got plenty of errands to do today. Mom called a little while ago and said the Post Office was out already. I applied last week to have her mailbox moved closer to the house. The woman gave me a lot of flack and double talk. But they've come out already and said whenever I can get the new box put up they'll start using it.

Norm what did it cost you at the dump? Speaking of The Dump, does anyplace other than Atlanta have a furniture outlet called The Dump? The woman that advertises on their commercial is tall, slender, has hips that won't quit, and is blonde. She's really something.

Okay plenty to do. Like make a new mailbox. Hope everyone has a great day.

FWIW, C-Diff is not spread via aerosol droplets. It is only contracted via an oral route. Frank’s air is non-contagious, even his toxins are non-contagious. Just don’t touch anything Frank might have touched. Wash hands frequently you’ll be fine. BTW, oral route includes mouth, nose (mucus) and eyes (tears). Eyes drain into nasal passages.

Thanks guys. Chris, I hope that the Dr.s can figure out what is happening with your sister. Not too comforting when you are a couple of states away. Friday I used up the remainder of my vacation time to clean the leaves up that the neighbor's trees decided to drop in my yard. Looked nice and tidy for a day and a half, then the wind started blowing and my yard is covered in the damn things again. Suppposed to be in the 30's tomorrow, I'll wait and see what weds. and thurs, bring weather wise, then I'll be out there one last time.

Thanks Dan, I hope so too! I'll use your post to provide an update to the extent I can. I talked to the facility's representative for my Sister's care this afternoon and they assured me she is being well cared for. As I did from my phone calls with my Sister in the days leading up to her admission, they have observed a general state of confusion, to include audio hallucinations. They have not made any type of diagnosis yet as to the cause although there is a possible one, but it is too early to know for sure. When my Sister was admitted she was/is suffering from a severe UTI. Severe UTI's apparently in middle to older aged women can cause ammonia levels in the blood stream to spike, which in turn can cause extreme confusion. They currently have her on some strong antibiotics to cure the UTI, and then see if that truly is the cause of her current symptoms. I am hoping that is all it is! Stay tuned, I'll let everyone know when I get the next update. Thanks guys for all the great positive support!

Chris - Ugh. Be thankful you're not a female. Normally humans excrete urea. Urea is not ammonia. There is a very, very slight amount of ammonia contained in urine - very, very slight. However, w/ a bacterial UTI infection, bacteria can/will breakdown urea & convert it to ammonia. If the ammonia enters the bloodstream it can cause exactly what your sister is experiencing. Sounds like they might have a handle on the situation. Surprised, the medical practitioners didn't suspect this during her previous supposed "medical" evaluation.

Repeated Cloudflare internal servers (Error Code 500) going down all this morning. Pretty sure they've had issues for the past one to two weeks as I've noticed significant latency in their network.

Fifteen year old filling came loose (chipped off) on tooth #21 yesterday eating lunch - very small filling. At dentist this morning @ 8:30 am. In & out in 10' - great dental service by my dentist.

The Cloudflare internal server service errors (Error Code 500) is 'apparently' resolved; but I suspect more disruptions in the not too distant future as this site is experiencing latency issues as well as FTE.

My Imperial forum that I look at has cloudflare and it was not affected today. I find it to be a bit of a pain but if it keeps the spam off I don't mind.

Ate lunch at a relatively new Mexican restaurant, today. Food was excellent - will go there more often. Real Mexican food instead of some American bastardized sweat hole. Had a double-dip mint chocolate chip at our local ice cream shop.

It's a matter of which server hosts that forum. It was a significant global network issue for Cloudflare. Personally, I don't believe Cloudflare is configured correctly on this site.

Norm - Trying to get caught up with everyones' goings on. I agree, it was disconcerting that when my Sister was at the Medical Hospital that they either did not see or disclose she had a serious UTI, and that it could potentially be the cause of her symptoms. There have been other issues related to her care I have been chasing down, like legal actions, and court appointed attorney, etc. related to her involuntary psychiatric hold that I have been getting info on so I can explain it to her (hopefully they are too) and ensure her rights are protected. A whole other can of worms.

From everything you've ever mentioned about your dentist, you found a great one! 👍

Nice that you found a new Mexican place with excellent food. We have an excellent one only 2.5-miles away from us in downtown Pevely. My daughter Blaire and her family are taking me there for my b-day this Thursday, I'll be 66. I'll be getting their Steak Fajitas, huge portion of food and the best I've ever had!

Chris - Good on you looking after your sisters well being. I’ve been seeing my dentist ~20 yrs. Yeah, this Mexican place is going to get much more of my business ~6 miles.

I AM PLAYING GOLF TOMORROW!!!

Ive taken sabbatical the past two months w/ household projects. Supposed to be lower 70s slight breeze.

As I said, I don’t believe this site is configured correctly w/ the Cloudflare s/w.
