As I said much earlier - yes, there is a logic board. The logic board is the "brain" and which the Console plugs into. I've stated this much earlier.

 

Jim - this is what I stated. Note: If you elect to find and buy the Console With Membrane, it likely won't come w/ the Logic Board. "If" the Logic Board is the "issue" you'd then be using your current Logic Board and placing it into a new Console With Membrane. "If" the Logic Board in your dryer is bad/faulty you know what that bought you right? Nothing.

 

So, it's up to you or someone which way to proceed. As I stated I've found (supposedly) a new Logic Board (if that's what you need/want). I have not found a Console With Membrane anywhere, as yet. And, I don't think there is any item called a touch pad.

I'm attempting to create a classified ad on BaT for my Indian Motorcycle. Takes time - most likely ~1 week in total from what I gather. I've uploaded my initial images and stuff, it's now being reviewed, then they'll get back to me in ~3 days. I'll wait until they get back to me for either approval/acceptance or not, then add more detailed photos. I'll see how this all plays out. I found several recent sales of nearly the exact motorcycle (one 3 days ago the other one week ago) for the exactly the pricing I'm looking to obtain.

 

This whole notion of finding select parts for Jim's dryer is identical to what I went through w/ my Kitchenaid dish washer. Luckily and I mean luckily I was able to find a Console With Membrane (whatever you care to call it) but it was in White instead of the Beige color. Beige completely unavailable anywhere. First I tried a logic board, that didn't do it. Then, I tried a new door SW, no bueno. Finally bought the White Console With Membrane thinga ma job with the little push pads and sure enough - BANG - I'm back in business with a White Top and Beige Bottom (I could give a rat's A$$ what color they are. I saved MEGA bucks not buying a new dishwasher.

 

I may have found a lull in activities so I slammed a pizza in the oven.

 

Ok Norm o believe irs a good bet to get the contol 🐗 logic board and and see if it's the problem. Could you post it again for me

May have a found a motherload of control boards - evidently they're refurbished but supposedly a reputable site. I searched on some alternative part numbers and found yours on this site.

(1) After I left the AT&T store (yesterday) I went to my favorite Mexican restaurant, ordered Enchilada Supreme - absolutely delicious. I ordered Dinner size. Couldn't eat it all, brought me a to-go box, and I left - the to-go box w/ my leftovers still on the table.
(2) I cannot make this one up:

While at the AT&T store (speaking w/ AT&T rep. Paul) to setup my phone SIM card he asks what day did you lose your phone? Monday. Was it in the Belk parking lot? I'm like WTF dude, how the hell do you know this?
A friend of his on a Facebook page found a phone (MY PHONE!!!!!) in the Belk parking lot on Monday. I cannot make this $hit up!!!! Said he's going to ask his friend to drop it off at the AT&T store then call me when he does.

CRAZED!!!

 

That's great! Keep the new one because you know you're going to lose it again.

One time my x came home all distraught saying she just lost her wallet at the store. I was going to go back with her to look and as I went past her car there it was on the back bumper where it had slid off the roof and landed and stayed there for a 13mi ride.

 

I transported my mother's coffee on the back bumper 10 miles once. Did not try the return trip that way. Sade and I are smooth operators.

 

Still not as bad as when my parents left me in their store when I was five. They didn't figure it out until a neighbor to the store called them. Not to worry, I was locked in there. I come from a big family and there was five of us plus a neighbor hood kid that went to the store and my mother counted the heads when she left the store forgetting she had an extra rider. I think back and wonder why my siblings never told them I was missing.

 

That's basically what happened w/ me. I put the phone on my truck bed large tool box, rode ~6 miles to that Belk parking lot tracing the route three times - never found it.

You're right I might lose this phone again. Hopefully he'll call me and I can pick it up and have an extra.

 

Y'all have some good stories. Keep 'em coming. I had a girlfriend when I was 19 who insisted I bang her on the roof of my car in the middle of winter in a hay field with six inches of snow on the ground. She did provide a blanket! She had an imagination.

For the past 5 or 6 days I've been loving watching the Olympics, primarily gymnastics, swimming, and track & field. The USA athletes have really been doing us all proud! I have to admit with the time difference between us and Paris, keeping up has been challenging to say the least. I've been trying to stay away from news sites and social media so as not to know the results before I watch the replays, all of which have been streaming on Peacock. It will be so much easier during the next Olympics in 2028 in LA. For someone who loves all sports, the Olympics are certainly special!

It's a good thing I don't have cable TV to watch the Olympics. I would accomplish absolutely nothing all day.

 

I haven't been watching anything during the day. Most of the action has been occurring realtime in the very early AM (our time) over in Paris. I've been starting to watch replays of the day's (early AM) action about 8 or 9pm in the evening and staying up to 1 or 2am watching the replays. Well past my normal bedtime, but well worth it, and hey, it only happens every 4-years! 😀

 

I basically stayed up every night round the clock in 72 (Munich), 76 (Austria) & 80 (Soviet Union). Loved every one of them.

 

Of course 1972 was a complete total **** up beyond all belief.
