Ok, pizza #2 and #3 have been made. I learned a few things. When you include the oil in the dough, it behaves a lot better and results in a lot better than when you don't. I forgot to grease the pans. I was laying everything out and it had a ton of juice, so I sopped it up. I put the pizzas in the oven, and realize both can't got on same shelf. So, one goes on top. Stuff immediately starts smoking, I thought it was the non-greased pans, though it may have been flour on the bottom of the pan, but most likely was all the liquid draining off and burning in the oven.

On goes the vent, out comes a fan, back door goes open as do some windows across the house. I figure, at the point, the pizza is ruined. Figure I might as well cook it fully. Smoke is getting heavier, I shut the basement door with the smoke detector. It gets to close to time, I cut off the oven and let it coast. Take out the pizzas, and they are very good. Top pizza is a little less done than bottom, I may have to swap them midway next time. Greased pans apparently just help with sticky crust.

I need less juiciness, so that means no oil on the dough, and fully drain the toppings to get all the grease gone next time.

Mahomes is an absolute magician! Still young, and just incredible. As he's done so many times, he just put the whole team on his shoulders and willed them to victory!

I am looking at a sports store for shorts and they already have banners for that team as champions.

Did they have both bases covered or is pro football as real as pro wrestling?

Can't disagree with you there, but just because your cows are pissing on rocks, I'm not gonna let them **** on my parade. My Wolverines won the NCAA Championship, and my Chiefs won the NFL Championship in the same season, for a true football fan, it doesn't get any better than that!

Well John, sounds like one of my "chef" experiences! Ah it will make good bar conversations for years to come, and all worked out ok... Chris, we decided to get a frozen pizza for super bowl halftime. We looked and couldn't find "Home Runs" down here. Bought a thin crust "Bellartoria" or something like that.... It was good!

Greg - Good choice on pizza. Think Bellatoria makes a good pizza. I have several in the freezer.

After cleaning the pans last night, it seems the juice rolled off the pan while making it, ended up on glass stove top and on bottom of pan, and slowly smoked off during the cooking.

I suspect hopefully most of y'all have seen the release(s). I'll provide the CDC link below. Be cautious, Listeria is a very nasty bacterial infection. Lots of products use these cheeses.

Listeria Outbreak Linked to Queso Fresco and Cotija Cheese

Thanks for the heads up on the products to watch for Norm

I thought Westwood did a real nice job on the broadcast. I appreciate the detailed descriptions without all the hyperfluff

Hey guys,

Almost done with the flooring. Good chance they'll be out of here by tomorrow afternoon, Thursday morning at the latest. We switched gears on one room in the middle of the process. My wife was going to leave the original vinyl tile in the laundry room, but then decided we should go ahead and extend the new floor into there too. Looking good!

So, because of all the expenses associated with the interior refresh, my wife made me promise not to to get her a Valentines Day present, not even a card. Then when I got home from getting take-out for dinner, I find what's in the pic below.

Got a text from my best Highschool friend today letting me know that another close friend of our's s suffered a stroke on Sunday and died. This guy and I played football and baseball together and I always considered him a really good friend. Just a super nice guy! He couldn't have been more than 66, probably 65, just way too young. Really sad!

Hope everyone had a great day!

Have to admit, when I saw this it brought a tear to my eye. When I first met her, I just thought she was HOT! Little did I know I had found the best thing that would ever happen to me. God doesn't make em any better!

I may be a minority, but I like smaller, well formed, firm **** over big pendulums that could knock a man out if he weren't careful.

Good morning.

Parade Day in KC today. There will be a sea of red in downtown for something more than Valentines day.

Proof our two hooligans are best buds! Just don't get a chance for a pic like this everyday!

Flooring guys are here, hopefully they're done today, certainly by tomorrow. I'm definitely looking forward to getting the house put back together, even if it means alot of moving a ****-ton of stuff back up from the basement.

Going over to my buddie's (guy that's a Mopar nut) house later this afternoon/evening. He is recovering from Cancer chemo, radiation, and surgery and doesn't have the strength yet to do much. He needs some heavy stuff moved around and his 2 sons are out of pocket right now and can't help. I needed to get over there just to visit anyway, and if I can help him out, so much the better!

Supposed to be sunny and 60° here today, which will be nice since I will have about an hour's drive one way to my buddie's place. I hope ya'll have a great day!
