This has been the entirety of each of my whimsy/comical posts relating to & representing the Chief's going into the playoffs & now SuperBowl. It isn't about the Chief's - it's about the media because "THAT" is wear American professional football resides - show me the money baby, show me the $$.

Agree 100%, for the NFL as a league, it's all about the Benjamin's! Maybe I'm too Pollyanna, but I still like to think that once all the hype is over, and the players buckle up their chin straps, it's still about pride and pure love for the sport for 99% of them! That is why I will continue to watch the games and enjoy every minute of them. Great song choice by the way.

Without going into politics directly, Swift is being absolutely groomed for a "get out the vote" movement towards the young and impressionable.

John - Ya think?

When she hikes up that little skirt I'm thoroughly impressed.

She can easily groom this old geezer.

Coming out of Highschool I had partial (not full ride) football scholarship offers from three Div II Colleges. Taking an honest look at the caliber of athletes at the Div II level, and my own capabilities, I decided to go to a Div III College where there were no athletic scholarships, but where I felt I'd have a much better chance of getting significant playing time. The only thing that was important to me was getting to play.

Part of the "new look" interior refresh. Big screen tv taken off it's stand on a different cabinet and mounted on the wall. Took some major lag bolts to securely mount that sucker! New black entertainment cabinet to match new decorating style. Still need to do some work with cord/cable concealment.

I'd try to bribe ya with $'s, but ya know this renovation has drained me dry! I'll just have to sit here in my own little silo of misery and take it. 😔

I spent the better half of the afternoon killing weeds. This is my 3rd pass in three weeks w/ the hand-held spot sprayer. Crabgrass gone, Clover gone, Nutsedge gone...none escape my deadly eye.

By far the absolute best product I have found for weed control is Syngenta Crop Protection, LLC Tenacity' (Mesotrione).

I have yet to weed control my place. I should fertilize and weed control. I usually just do roundup then burn the ditch and the driveway and the landscaping stone for those weeds.

Well ya can't burn for weed control. Burning is an exceptional source of potash which acts as a highly nutrient source of Potassium which vigorously promotes root growth - the weeds will love you. Any grass will, as well, but anytime you conduct a burn of vegetation nutrients from the plants you burn are vigorously released into the soil and taken up by plant roots.

Sure ya can, I do it every summer. When it gets to 115 degrees, the weeds just shrivel and die.

Norm, if Tay Tay does it for you, that's a good sign. Without being too vulgar, if your block and tackle still work in old age, it's a good indicator of cardiovascular health.

I made a casserole last night. Turkey recipe, but used a rotisserie chicken. Used too many breadcrumbs so I overcooked it a bit. Still good. Pics coming off my phone next post.

The internet user level, doing everything off a phone, the not so great mobile interface of this website, and the related posts feature make for some amazing missed shots where users pitch a reply into a completely separate, long dead thread that was meant for the first one they were reading.

John - Ditto what Norm said! My wife makes a very similar casserole with canned chicken.

I'm having Home Run Inn Classic Sausage pizza, Buffalo spicy chicken strips, and Rolling Rock during the Super Bowl. Dinner of Champions!

I'm going to make a couple pizzas again. I overcooked it a couple weeks ago. I need to practice for friends visiting in two months for a weekend.

Get this **** the yeast I use isn't at my grocery store, so I amazoned some coming this afternoon. What a crazy world, I don't like this instant ship arrive on sunday **** even though I use it.

John, what yeast do you use? I have always used whatever quick-rise yeast is on sale. Currently I have Red Star.

I wonder if there’s any difference between the quick rise various yeasts, or if it’s just marketing. I know there are different beer yeasts, but then again that’s beer.

The only singular difference between pizza yeast & baking yeast are the additives - both contain identical yeast. Pizza yeast has some special "stuff". Basically a consortia of amino acids/enzymes which breakdown gluten or halt the formation of gluten thereby rendering the dough easier to stretch & stretch further w/o falling apart.

For the record I was not one of the searchers. I do not care about pro sports, and had no idea who was playing until I looked at the local news this morning and saw there were way too many articles devoted to this over-hyped game for over-paid players.
