Several new forest fires since the bad one in Redding earlier this summer. This afternoon the Delta fire went from zero to a couple thousand acres really fast, closing Interstate 5 North of Redding and South of Dunsmuir . Tedd, I'm not sure exactly where you live but this one sounds like a bad one. If your still OK please drop a note to let us all know.

Still OK. Most of this fire stuff is North of me and as far as I know no friends or family are at risk. Sure has been a bad fire year, we need a good rain to stop this nonsense..... Tedd
