NC/SC/VA folks
Looks like we're getting an influx of members from those three states lately.
What would y'all think about trying to have a Classic Oldsmobile get-together in NC sometime later this year?
Need to know what you'd like to do, and how far you're willing to drive for it. That will help figure out a location.
There's often something going on at VIR, and except for being so late in the year this would probably be a lot of fun. You can't say that 40s Caddy pulling the open wheel racecar ain't just plumb cool.

There's also the NC Transportation Museum in Spencer. The Studebaker Club shows there in the spring and other clubs also go as a group.

Tarheel Tigers GTOAA usually invites BOP-Cad to their annual show in late summer.

Anyone else know of anything Oldsmobile people might like? Can't promise I wouldn't be on the old Gray Ghost wagon, but I'd like to meet and greet y'all.

I wanted to post a poll with this thread but had to leave for a few minutes and now it says has to be done within ten minutes of posting original thread. I may repost this to give you some options.
Y'all help me think of something centrally located and fun.

Count me in.
I've been to the Tarheels BOPC show before and it was great (except, like we Olds owners know too often, getting judged in the 'others' Category). Most shows have a GM category, a Ford category and then BOPC has to compete with each other in the 'others' category!

Rocketraider,
The car show/ cruise inn at Pilot Mountain is by far the best car show in NC. The first event is June 4th. I have seen a few Oldsmobiles there and on any given evening there is a wide variety of vehicles.
