Should Citcapp go into an ole folks home?

Retiree Bathtub Test

During a visit to my doctor, I asked him, "How do you determine whether or not a retiree should be put in an old age home?"

"Well," he said, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the retiree and ask him or her to empty the bathtub"

"Oh, I understand," I said. "A normal person would use the bucket because it
is bigger than the spoon or the teacup."

"No" he said. "A normal person would pull the plug. Do you want a bed near the window?"

You should have made this a poll...

I remember sitting on an airplane a while back and a flight attendant was lastly trying to seat two very old ladies. The attendent asked them if they wanted to sit by the window and one said to the other, "I just had my hair done; so you can sit there"
I had to retain hysterical laughter, as well as a few others.
Must have been their first flight... Took 'em a while to find out how the window shade worked.

Oooooo. Just made me think of a nice sushi spot in town. Steaming hot green tea, some yellow fin sashimi rolls, and hot sake for after dinner. Yum!!!

So share your substitute dinner, now that I am salivating all over the place. Might as well have a mental image of something to make this Friday work day worth it.

Sure is nice that my old buddy Jamsbo is thinking of me. I'll come visit Jamsbo and Dan when they get settled in their new digs. I'll bring soft food and warm milk

I can see all three of you passing around a bottle of Metamucil, saying "take a swig and pass it down."

The three of them would get lonely in the old folks home if bears weren't allowed.

Bears and Metamucil sounds like a recipe for disaster...

With out a garage to work on cars they wouldn't be happy.

I can see it now the first annual senior home drag race in the parking lot. A one day event to end all drag racing at the senior home. A line of Oldsmobile's will enter the wet box and light up the tires. When the light turns green they will be off to the finish line.

Well until time for pudding.

Finnaly outgrew zits, and haven't had arthritis yet.

Three old guys sitting on the porch of the nursing home, first one says, sure miss being "regular", have to get up in the middle on the night to take a leak ruins my sleep. Second one says you think you have it bad. I wake up in the middle of the night with constipation and can't take a crap, hurts llike hell and keeps me awake the rest of the night. The third guy says, I am as reqular as clock work, take a leak at 6:00 am and a crap at 6:30 am. The only problem is I don't wake up until 8:00 am..........

Hell no he shouldn't. I know from some of his posts, he and I are the same age. I am going to use one of the phrases the Viet Nam protesters used when I was in Viet Nam, "Hell No We Won't Go.".
