The insurgents were actually 3200ft past the official range of his L115A3 sniper rifle.

I hit a rabbit @130 yards with a .22lr and thought that was a good shot.

Yeah I read about that guy too. Whatever it was I was reading said that he killed the guys with the first two shots, the third was just to disable the machine gun so know body else could use it. I think it also said he took the record for longest kill too.(well with that type of rifle atleast)

With that type of rifle? thats over a mile and a half away hell of a scope not to mention any adjustment for wind etc.
