Dale Gilbert, Sr., of the H/OCA, has passed

If any of you knew Mr. Dale Gilbert, Sr., you have my sympathies, as he has recently passed on.

I did not know the gentleman personally, but I remember seeing him at some H/OCA meets. He had a 79 H/O and would play the guitar there. He also was a strong member of the Knights of Columbus.

His obituary is below, he passed on the 26th.

Thank you for posting this, Dale was one of the great ones. At the Nashville Nationals he played his guitar for a few minutes on stage at the old old Grand Ole Opry, the one in the center of town I believe it was. He said that was one of his greatest moments.

R.I.P Dale, you will be missed.

R.I.P. Dale, would briefly talk to him at the H/OCA meets, very nice man...
If Dale was at the meet you would expect to see him with his acoustic guitar at night out by his '79.
