Anyone know what happened to Rob? I see he hasn't posted since 2018.

 

I've sent pm's and emails with no response over the last few years. I know he was thinking on moving to Oregon or Washington state.

 

He was very active on here for several years. I used to see his car at car shows once in a while but not in a long time. The times I saw his car, he was never around.

 

Perhaps post on his Wanted Vista Cruiser ad to catalyze a response….😀

Supe nice guy, i remember when he got PO d with his cheap Harbor Freight wire brush and threw it on to his neighbors roof

 

He bought some land for his retirement home on the Southern Oregon coast. He stopped by a couple time when he came out to work on his place. But I've not heard from him in several years either. Really nice guy. I hope all is well with him.

He was a member of the NTOC (North Texas Olds Club). Someone in that club might have more info. They have a website.

 

He has not been a member of NTOC since I have been in it and I think that is 2014.

 

Yes, he was a member of the NTOC back in 2012. My wife and I met Rob at Dinasaur Valley State Park in Glen Rose for a picnic back in 2012. I also met up with him at the Waxahachie NTOC meet in 2013 with a bunch of other Classic Olds members. Good times.

 

When I first moved to Dallas in 2010 I think I met Rob and saw his car around 2011 after I started getting back into this site. Didn't he live out by Firewheel off of loop 635 northeast of Dallas? I seem to remember meeting someone there. I wasn't a member of NTOC at the time though.

 

Dad, did you meet Rob out there? Or was it Richard (Gearhead78)? Doesn't he live in TX too?

 

Oh well maybe it was Richard. Geez, I hate getting old.

I could never figure out whether it referred to his wife and his ages or the year of the Oldsmobile that each of them owned.

72 - year the car was born
n - self explanatory
Rob - owners name
71 - the year he was born

 

Right. I could never get my head around referring to cars as "she".
