Ever see a rat rod that wasn't chopped, narrowed, lowered or other wise messed with. When done I can imagine it looking like a mini cooper.... Tedd

Lol mini cooper..

I'll take more pics on Monday.

I could see a nice family hauler/ trip taker with some good interior, clear paint over the rust to keep that old look, olds 2425 (since I hear so good about them)

I'd say it was a roach coach/food vendor. Sides lift up and shelf on either side for water cooler.

Gah, I hate people clearcoating rust for "patina." Just let it be, or fix it right. Cars are restored, or they are not; there's no need to half *** rat rod something. If you're going to do it, do it right, or don't do it at all.

Rat rods are plentiful in LA, they have made thier mark. Ive been to car shows and seen some I just had to laugh at (no floors, exsaust running under inches away from thier feet) total death traps I agree. But Ive also seen rat rods pull up to new cars and classics and just murder them off the line and then some. It was a movement in the 60's I think. Like with every thing if done correctly then some one out there will find a way to mess it up.
