Burying Mom today
Mom died on Monday. Getting ready to go see her at the funeral home one more time before the funeral/mass. Burying her on a Military base with dad who died 38 years ago from agent orange. Gonna be a tough day. If you think about it please think about us today...

Our deepest condolences to you, your family and friends. They are reunited now, looking down upon you. They raised you well, gave you the strength to push forward now that life has changed in so many ways.
Keep looking up to them, they always had your back, their much closer now.

Thanks for all the kind words. Didn’t expect many if any of my Old’s Brothers to respond. I was trying to talk with my extended family and deal with the lose. Had to spend today cleaning out her place. It was tough. Thanks again to my CO family!

Sorry for your loss. It's been 13 years since my Mama left. I've moved back into the house and it still seems I should come in the back door and see her sitting at that kitchen table with her cup of strong black coffee. She lived 15 years after my dad died, completely independent and handled all her own affairs till the last 2 years before she passed aged 83.
Believe me, it does get easier as time passes. Though I'm just now getting to where I can get rid of some of her stuff. She told me to empty the house and not save anything when she died, but I just could not do that at that time.

.
WITH rue my heart is laden'
For golden friends I had
,For many a rose-lipt maiden And many a lightfoot lad'
.By brooks too broad for leaping
The lightfoot boys are laid
;The rose-lipt girls are sleeping In fields where roses fade.
