The bearr is back ,again

My house guest was up at 4 AM and stepped outside for a smoke and came face to face with the bear, both beat a hasty retreat. Hard to tell who was the most sacred, me on the other hand slept through the whole ordeal as usual. Time will tell how this works out, it's getting too frequent for comfort....Tedd

I think I would need a drink to go along with the smoke after that.

Yea, I have the original kind and the illegal kind and some that would probably make both categories. There is a heavy loaded 12 gauge three feet from the front door, but who remembers that when you are running backwards.... Tedd

I got a really good deal on my small camper because of a bear, I was looking for a very specific camper easy to find on the eastern half of the USA not to common on the western half, I finally located one in Colorado but wasn't in a position to take the trip to Co. lucky for me I have a very good meticulous friend who lived approx 100 miles from the seller he went and looked at it for me and reported it was immaculate so I called the seller and completed the deal over the phone, sent a cashiers check and my buddy went and picked it up and stored it in his shop until I could make the trip to pick it up, my buddy was curious as to why this guy was selling a immaculate almost new camper, the guy told him the second time out with it his wife got up in the morning to make coffee and when she opened the door of the camper there was a bear laying on the picnic table about 15 feet from the camper !! she screamed the bear took off but she told her husband she was never going camping again unless he bought a hard side camper !! poor guy wound up buying a 5th wheel and a F-250 !! what the guy didn't tell her is if that bear really wanted to he could still get in the 5th wheel !! but hey I wound up with a great little camper I still have !!! only difference is now I pull it with a Grand Cherokee,

I live in Asheville and the bears walk around like they own the place. Sleep in hammocks, walk through breweries, and pay very little attention to people. They are very fast when the want to be.

A bear (now diciest) opened up my garage door to get to some dog food when the door was locked, bent the bottom rail and tore the door hangers off the side supports. Bears have unbelievable strength.... Tedd
