Hi guys,
Went to a very well attended cruise-in this evening in southwest St. Louis, probably 350 to 400 cars there. I will post the pics in two posts. If the moderator would please combine them it would be much appreciated.

Wow! Great show. I could comment on every car. What a cool turnout. Little bit of everything. Sorry Mopar haters but some super cool Mopars there. 65 GTO is an All timer in my book. Awesome Fairlane. Seriously every car I could comment on. Thanks so much. Saint Louis representing strong. Great show. Great pictures.

no1oldsfan - Thanks, much appreciated! Didn't include a pic of my '67 4-4-2 this time, figured everyone was a little tired of seeing it. In regard to the Mopars, St. Louis had a big Mopar plant for many years during the 60's, 70's, and 80's, and put out many of their muscle cars, including Road Runners, Super Bees, and Coronets, so they are very popular here. There are 3 additional judged shows here this weekend, Saturday thru Monday, but the weather is iffy at best. I'm hoping to make it to at least one of the 3, hopefully more pics to come!
I was born on Denver. Saint Louis and Denver were always sister cities when I was a kid. I still have many friends out there. They are Mopar strong for the majority of them.
Quick Mopar story. When I was probably 16 I am guessing. My oldest brother hooked up my brother just older than me with a true blue lift off hood four speed 3.90? Dana Bench seat 440 Six Barrel 69 Roadrunner. Super cool memories. The actual car is still very well known in Mopar circles.
I was busy otherwise I would have stopped by there, Dream. From the looks of it there was a nice turnout too. I also see that General Lee clone cruising through soco from time to time.
With all the rain we had Sunday I didn't even consider going to this event because of it. Looks like I missed a nice showing.
Thanks Dan! Look for my new thread titled "Car Show in Union, MO Yesterday, July 16th" in "The Clubhouse" forum and check out my pics from the Car Show at the Moose Lodge there this past Saturday.
Late to the post as usual,
I'm not a big red fan but I have to say that early 50's Pontiac had me drooling ! and of course it was a sedan !!
great pics thanks.

You guys will not believe this : My uncle Roland Hill was THEE Plant Manager-Kenosha until he retired. I lived in Milwaukee up the road and he used to take me to the AMC body plant and AO Smith in Milwaukee as well as the assembly plant in Kenosha. Great memories guys.....

Robski - Did you mean to post this in the Kenosha Car Show thread?
